In the Word with Pastor Shaun
Today is the 5th of December 2007, I appologise if
you have visited this page before and found nothing.
I have been meaning to get in and start using this
page but as we all know everything takes time.
Through out the month of December we love to celebrate
here at our church, we always call December our celebration
month, not celebrating what we have accomplished but
what God has accomplished in and through us. One of
the greatest times of rejoicing and celebration that
sticks out for me every time I think about celebration
in scripture is found in
2nd Samuel 6:12-15
It is the story of king David bringing the Ark of
the Covenant up into the city of David, and king David
is dancing "with all his might" in other
words with, all his effort, with all his passion,
with all his heart, not concerned about what or who
is around him this man of God dances before not just
any object or thing but he dances before his God and
he celebrates his God.
I pray that each of us as we evaluate our year, we
rejoice in all that God has accomplished in and through
our lives and we celebrate as King David did. AMEN!!!
